Overview

PrintMS is a complete 32 bit windows application, which runs on Windows 95 / 98, ME, 2000 and XP. PrintMS system modules include : -

Customer / Supplier Databases, Quoting, Scheduling, Job Costing, Stock, Invoicing.

PrintMS is modular based so the Customer can purchase exactly what is needed.

PrintMS has been designed so that it can be tailor made to your needs, whether it may be extra fields, reports or even a whole new module.

  • Easy system navigation
  • Search Facility that allows users to search on any field.
  • Ability to print statements for selected customers or to print all statements on a date range.
  • Instant reminders, ability to set default days such as 30 days for an invoice payments or to automatically set / prompt reminders.
  • Label facility to print single, multiple or all labels for customers and suppliers. Also the ability to select the label position.
  • Auto-Text facility; create your own standard text libraries ordered by category. In a few clicks you can select your stored text and merge the data
  • Ability to restrict access to parts of the system, for each user. (i.e. certain users can't add or delete records).
  • Easy to use Enquiry and Job Books.
  • Links with Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, automating facilities such as Outlook Email, Contacts and Calendar.
  • Invoice facility with the ability to input part payments or full payments. Dependent on VAT registration, the system can calculate sub, VAT and grand totals respectively.
  • Invoice history facility linked to the relevant customer and / or job.
  • Ability to store Customer and Supplier information and contact links.
  • Ability to store all Job / Enquiry information in a structured format, allowing the user to backtrack and modify information.
  • Ability to input prospective customers and convert to an actual customer when the job is finalised.
  • Input multiple suppliers for a certain job. For example; one supplier for printing, another for paper and one for delivery.
  • Stores current job status allowing you to keep track of where you are with each individual job.
  • On-screen cost summary, showing cost price, sell price and profit with a percentage margin, taking into account stock, labour and printing costs.
  • Job costing, allocate fixed costs to a job such as a courier charge. This leads to a total for the complete job allowing the system to produce Profit/Loss Reports.
  • Ability to create, modify and run reports. There are over ten pre-defined reports including Work-In -Progress, Customer Enquiry Conversions and Contact Lists.
  • Generates PDF documents which are user-definable. The templates include print enquiry, quotation, job card, order confirmation, proof approval, purchase orders, invoices and delivery notes.
  • Job scheduling, allowing to graphically show time spent on all jobs and by which employee. This is calculated and contributes to an overall labour charge for a job.
  • Internal Mail option to send and receive mail messages via the system.
  • Graph wizard; create graphs for any data on the system. For example, overall profit or price break information.
  • The backup routine has the facility to backup documents, templates, system data and diary information.
  • Input multiple quantity and price breaks for a job, 4 breaks and one run-on.
  • The on-line help system incorporated in PrintMS allows users to add or modify help files using the Basic Text Editor, or adding Rich Text documents created in programs such as Microsoft Word.
  • Starlite PrintMS can be a stand-alone system or a multi-user networked system. All systems will run on any 100% IBM Compatible PC.
